On Wednesday 11 May 2022, from 7:45 pm to  9:00 pm, The NLC Commonwealth Forum are delighted to invite you to a reception, to celebrate International Nurses Day, which follows the Westminster Abbey service to commemorate the life of Florence Nightingale that same evening.

The NLC Commonwealth Forum reception is hosted by Lord Monroe Palmer, President of the NLC Commonwealth Forum and Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords, and will be held in the Smoking Room.

The NLC Commonwealth Forum Receptions for IND were cancelled in 2020 and 2021, due to the COVID 19 pandemic, although we had a wonderful evening on 12/5/21, by zoom, with our good friend and colleagues, Lord Nigel Crisp (former Chief Executive of the English NHS and Permanent Secretary of the UK Department of Health), who spoke on "Nursing Now and in the Future".

Joining us on Wednesday, 11 May 2022, from 7:45 pm to 9:00 pm, is a superb way of recognising Nurses and Nursing internationally and their ongoing contribution to global health.
