Childhood friends Hannah Teoh (piano) and Lucy Gjisbers (cello) first played together at the age of fourteen. More than a decade later, they are reunited and bring you an exciting exploration of cello and piano music, ranging from beloved repertoire by composers including Beethoven and Debussy, to a recent work hailing from the country they group up in together: New Zealand. The performance will be complemented by relevant paintings and poetry read by Commonwealth Forum Vice Chair James Brown. For a special trio performance they will be joined on the clarinet by Ben Westlake.
Concert Producer: Yisha Xue
