NLC Commonwealth Forum raises £850 for School in Sanghol, India

The NLC Commonwealth Forum raised £850.00 for the Cordia Group of Educational Institutes in Sanghol, India via a Virtual Quiz hosted by Emily Robinson.

As part of the NLC Commonwealth Forum delegation to India last year, the group visited the Cordia Group of Educational Institutes in Sasnghol established by the Lord Rana MBE. We were taken on an extensive tour of the campus, met many of the students, and given such a warm welcome by everyone at the school, it made for an unforgettable day.

The NLC Commonwealth Forum India Delegation members Ella Slack, James Brown, Subbu Loganathan, Emily Robinson, and Chair Trevor Peel were instumental in raising funds and would like to thank fellow NLC members in attendance and for their generous contributions.

The funds raised will help to further the education and enrichment of the school’s students as well as help with costs and harships due to the current Covid-19 crisis in India.
